Meet the Director

Chelsea Spokes is Director and Clinical Audiologist at The Listening Hub. Chelsea has a Bachelor of Speech, Hearing and Language Science as well as a Master’s degree of Clinical Audiology from Macquarie University.   

Chelsea has extensive experience in adult and paediatric diagnostics, hearing aids, implantable hearing technology, vestibular assessments, and adult rehabilitation. Although Chelsea discovered early in her career that her passion is in auditory processing.

Chelsea is an active member of Audiology Australia and Independent Audiologists Australia, clinically certified and has completed the Auditory Processing Institutes Evaluation and Treatment courses. Also, Chelsea regularly attends professional development training courses, workshops and Auditory Processing meetings to ensure best practice.

Chelsea is committed to spreading awareness about auditory processing disorders. She is driven to help people understand what is causing their listening difficulties and provide support where possible. Unfortunately, many people who are affected by APD, do not know what APD is. Chelsea is one of only four audiologists in Australia offering auditory therapy.   

When Chelsea isn’t talking about auditory processing, she enjoys going for coastal walks with friends and family or eating almond croissants at cafes on the weekend.
